      Base pay is ok, but being in Southern California, the wages are not competitive. Great, large company to work for, exciting to be a part of. Discounts on golf game equipment. By and large easy going organization. Piece of work hard, play hard mentality.

      The company states that we like to hire from inside, merely from conversations with xx-thirty entry level employees, the overwhelming consensus is that anybody has practical and been denied for multiple openings, where an outside hire was selected. People mostly feel stuck in entry level positions, fifty-fifty as the visitor is seeing tape growth. Leadership not totally open to moving to remote or hybrid work for some employees, while offering it to others freely. Labor jobs need to be on site of form. Great leadership personalities, likeable people. Nevertheless there's a disconnect with the idea of helping raise up the "low level" employees. Everyone has at to the lowest degree a bachelors caste and the grunt work could exist hands replaced by automation and auto learning, elevating the level of skill everywhere.

      A good working environment where they let you practise your job without high pressure. Pay is fair to good, they have nice people that I worked with. R&D is well equipped to to do your job.

      It'south a good sometime boys club when it comes to promotions or job advocacy, a lot of politics, no loyalty. I was with the company for over twenty years, developed many successful products for the company. When Covid nineteen hit, it gave Callaway a bully excuse to eliminate long time employees or if a manager but didn't like you. Some very proficient managers , some were atrocious. During the layoff Hour was apartment out mean. A whooping 6 week severance pay if you lot were there for 3 months or twenty 5 years. I'm older effectually 60, so looking for work at my age has been impossible, can't even get a interview, so basically I've been thrown into early retirement.
